[Akira is in the convenience store because he currently has an armful of food, of which he continues to sweep more of it into his arms rather than pick what he needs off the shelf.

He asserts his dominance by looking directly at Chandra while he does this.]

[He's being so weird today. He turns to face Chandra full, still in that very much asserting dominance way. He appraises Chandra from head to feet with his eyes.

Something comes out of the collar of his shirt? It's

a kitten head. A black one with a red ribbon around the neck, but the fur is patchy where there are sections missing fur period.

He finally tosses one of the meals at Chandra, except it's down on the ground at Chandra's feet.]

It's fine because he's looking for Chandra specifically, and he literally searched every single area until he could find him. Much to Jan's shock, he DOESN'T come in naked, he actually comes in fully clothed which is almost as disrespectful honestly. He unfortunately has the same hunch and lurch, but perhaps a bit more higher intelligence to his eyes than the usual feralness.]

[For a second, he looks around the onsen like he's checking for other people. Surely Chandra would be with other people.........

Then he prowls over to crouch down right by him.]

Hell? Yes. The underworld is always a busy place, after all, and Yama doesn't have enough attendants to handle it all on his own.

Even though he sort of avoids Chandra mostly, they are going to fall into a hole when they pass because if not, Chandra will turn around and walk in the other direction. MAYBE THE HOLE IS BIG.

This is the first time the hole has happened to him, though, so he jumps upright ready for a fight. Instead, he's greeting with a familiar screen,

and something playing on it.]

well. whenever he witnesses moments like these, chandra thinks that for all people accuse him or other gods of being cruel, the sheer vitriol and delight humans take in destroying each other at times hardly makes them better.

his expression is mostly neutral; because he's an asshole, he can't say seeing this breaks his heart. (also, like, he saw the head under the bed.) but he's not sadistic enough to kick akira when he's down by opening his mouth and making things worse, so he simply says nothing.]

[Well, he did not expect nor want to witness any of that on this day. The way it actually keeps looping, too.

He looks visibly stunned. A swell of emotion rolls up in him; as expected, water starts brimming in his eyes. Why is he being shown this? Why? Nevermind how terrible it is for Chandra to be here to see it.] Stop it, [he whispers.

Like the Akira on screen, he slowly raises his hands to clutch his head.] Stop it. [A little louder, a little more desperate.

Then he screams:] Stop it!

[he's

going to edge away from akira in case akira starts getting violent while having a breakdown. there is basically nothing he could say to help calm down akira that wouldn't be horribly ooc of him, so once again he won't even try. i'm so sorry akira. anna why did you have to give chandra the sad memory.

but maybe akira's yelling does some good, since eventually the screen starts to flicker, as though it's getting ready to show something else.]

anyway he's in

the computer lab because he knows no one fuckin goes in there. his shirt and cloak are off, since he's apparently redoing the bandages that got slashed during execution, and by redoing i mean he has to replace them with strips of cloth now]

[It's your fault, he showed Akira a stupid memory and then you also tried to take me out as collateral. So now he's here.

But it's fine because then he's gone. And he's gone for several minutes before he returns again. This time, he comes in more and over to Chandra. He holds out.... a familiar, simple black shirt. The little holes in the back shoulders have now been sewn up, but he gives it without saying anything..]

All I knew was that Bloody Mary, due to their circumstances, has a bit of leeway that the others don't necessarily have. I didn't know they were going to offer for you to be annihilated.

Well, then forget about the demons. You and Ryo at least made it to the end, so you know you have a chance. If you refuse to return to your world and reject annihilation, and if your original hope is on too grand of a scale, settle for something lower.
