Too many. Which means it'd be fine to eat some of them to cull the population. If they're strong enough to survive, they'll kill me and not be eaten.

It is absolutely not fine to eat them-! There's nothing wrong with your cat, either!

That's how it works. The weakest ones aren't worthy enough to survive. You act surprised when that's what's happening to us here too.

Not worthy enough-- that's not something that's only up to strength. How well has that been serving anyone who did try to pick someone off?

They were strongest and smartest. They survived the battle they chose to fight, or they simply would have died. You hunted them wrongly, found them with human hearts and morals to feel better about yourselves.

They should have lived until another decided to kill them. But if they had been strong, they would have won the fight everyone put them in.
