[Me forcing Zel to come to the bar but only to witness Akira be stupid.
Akira is on his way down into the bar, but does not realize it's going to be full of ballpit balls, so he immediately
slips on the first few and goes ass down into the thick of them right at the bottom of the stairs. Goodbye! His head comes up pretty quick, and he just looks so stunned. He... slowly... looks up the stairs at Zelgadis...]
He looks back at what he's sunken into, scooping his hands up through it. He lets a few of the balls tumble into the pile before looking at Zel again.]
I'm okay. It's... a ballpit? They're all over the bar.
[He shifts positions in the collection of balls, seeing if he can stand. Oh. It's... a little less deep here than it seems. They reach about his knees once he's on his feet. He sweeps his leg through them.]
It's supposed to be fun.
[He wades out farther, and the balls rise up a bit over the knees. He scoops some up in his hands and chunks them back at Zel.]
He watches Zel turn around to leave him (valid), only to slip and come crashing down into the bar ball pit. He startles. BUDDY... Quickly, he wades through after Zel.]
Hold on!
[It's just plastic balls, but he shoves both hands into them to get a hold of Zel and hoist him back up. H... HOIST....? HOOOOOOOOOOOIST. Oh my God, this bastard is so heavy. STRUGGLING. He's too nerfed for this.]
[amazing. gold star for trying, akira. zel was almost just going to stay there, lying at the bottom of this ball pit, thinking about where his life has gone... but it looks like he's getting hoisted up, and he might as well put in the effort to stand the rest of the way.]
... Yeah... I know. I'm one-third rock golem, so...
[A nice stroll in the aquarium. This won't end badly at all...
He doesn't seem very pressed about sharing the space with Zel, though he walks with a different, very particular stride, and he is also slightly more hunched over than usual as he does it?
Don't know what kind of fish you've seen, but... [He taps the glass, like you're absolutely not supposed to do at an aquarium. It's fine.] These are just ordinary fish.
It takes him a bit to get to the resort from where he's at, but Zel has some peace from him at least. He comes in with something in his arms which he's trying to brush snow off of, and he also looks a day from being roughed up because of Monday.
After flicking a bit of snow away, he offers what's in his arms out to Zelgadis. It's a bundle of chamomile, juliet roses, and serruria flowers. They somehow managed to make it through the snow up the mountain.]

He just watches him go down... then sighs and crouches by the edge of the stairs to look down at him.]
... You okay?

I'm okay. It's... a ballpit? They're all over the bar.

[This is a new concept to this ye olde. He stares at it, his gaze tracing a path to the actual bar counter.]

They're plastic.

Hmph... Doesn't look like my idea of "fun." If getting to the bar is going to be that much of a hassle, I'll just find somewhere else.
[He turns on his heel to leave, his cape swishing behind him. He's too cool for this.]

His foot slides right out from under him and he immediately falls backward into the ball pit.
He just sinks right down into the sea of plastic balls.]

[Y'know. Heavy. He's up now, though.]

He doesn't seem very pressed about sharing the space with Zel, though he walks with a different, very particular stride, and he is also slightly more hunched over than usual as he does it?
It kind of looks like a prowl.]
Have any of them tried to break out?
no subject
... No. They're just swimming in circles.
no subject
He stops to look watchfully at the tanks. They're truly not trying to break free...]
They've been contained.
no subject
[...]
I'm sorry -- were you expecting something else?
no subject
For them to be strong enough to break free.

Pathetic.
[No disgust, only disapproval. His eyes scan the tanks, watching what swims by, what swims close.]

Why?

[He truly does not say why, poor Zel.
It takes him a bit to get to the resort from where he's at, but Zel has some peace from him at least. He comes in with something in his arms which he's trying to brush snow off of, and he also looks a day from being roughed up because of Monday.
Does he have a black eye? Probably. It's fine.]

For you.

Huh?

They're for you. [...] I decided to give them to the people who can still enjoy them instead.
