Someone coming in jostles him, though, and he immediately flings a corner of the sheet over it and whips around to stand in front of it. SORRY TO SCARA, HE'S CRYING AGAIN.]
God knows whether or not he actually saw what was on Akira's bed. The important thing is, he walks in and sees Akira STILL CRYING. HE'S STILL FUCKING CRYING??
And he really does just immediately turn around and walk out again bye. (It's fine he'll be back for his gnosis he's just feeling a feeling.)]
But he still needs his gnosis, so he is going to come back after like five minutes. All he did in that span of time was stupidly hover by the door trying to decide if he wanted to come back in right away to grab it or not... But eventually he does! He goes back in and immediately heads for the closet so he can start opening doors and rummaging around.]
Well, when Scaramouche finally comes back........the head is nowhere to be seen. Who knows where it went. It's not on the bed anymore. AND... Akira isn't crying! Wow! His eyes are red like he has been, but at least he isn't crying.
He is sitting forlornly on the bottom bunk, hunched over his thighs.]

Anyway, he's not paying Akira too much mind considering he's at least marginally more tolerable like this. i.e. not trying to turn into a werewolf, stealing spam, or crying.]

Sadly a gnosis is not the sort of thing that Some Guy could just break in five minutes and Scaramouche is painfully aware of that, and now he is equally painfully aware of the fact that what had felt so off before was the lack of warmth, the lack of power, the lack of light. His own body is broken, but even so, he should be able to feel the pulse from this god-heart, the crackle of lightning beneath his fingertips. In the end, there's nothing. Like the nothing opening above and below him, like the blood peeled from his veins.
